Preparing students to dream big, think deeply, and live purposefully
SMMEIIS Institute is expanding its learning experiences for the 2026–2027 school year. Students can explore Theatre & Play Production, Cello Study in partnership with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, Creative Writing, Physical Education, and Servant Leadership while engaging in meaningful, hands-on projects that connect learning to life. A new addition to our offerings, Next-Gen Living, introduces students to practical life skills and future-focused thinking.

Carrying Forward Her Light
During Founder’s Week, we uplift the legacy of Jacqueline Nobles Dillon—whose visionary leadership laid the foundation for our microschool's mission and future.

Educational Philosophy:
Our Micro School's Mission: To advance the creative capacity of young leaders, allowing them to flourish as advocates for change and compassionate problem solvers.
Base Level - Art and Culture: This level represents creativity, self-expression, and cultural engagement. It serves as the foundation for building skills and ideas, reflecting the culturally specific experiences of a community.
Middle Level - Mediation: This tier reflects collaboration, conflict resolution, and communication skills. It connects the creative aspects of the arts with the social emotional aspects of self-actualization.
Top Level - Humanitarianism or Altruism: The apex signifies social responsibility, empathy, and advocacy for change. This level represents the outcomes of integrating arts and mediation, showcasing the impact on communities.
