In government, freedom is commonly described as the right to speech, press, and even religion. But what most Americans forget is that it is to a certain extent. A person's rights end where another person's begins. For example, you have the right to speech but not the right to disrespect others. Freedom comes with responsibility. Civic responsibility is cooperating with others; political and non-political. Being actively engaged in the community around you. Freedom to me is not just voting or assembly, it is making your own choices without limitation. The freedom of one person impacts another. We are not truly free until every person has these rights.
